Almeria
Almeria has been one of the poorer parts of Spain until recently when demand for property increased dramatically with new construction of Villas and properties being built all over the province.
Situated in Andalucia Southern Spain along the Mediterranean coast the province of Almeria is one of the last places to be discovered in Spain, because of this the province is still very traditional and one of the main destinations for Spanish to go to for their holidays.
Before the construction boom the province of Almeria had increased its wealth through farming, with the land being very fertile the province produces an abundance of olives, grapes and oranges and lemons. Also with the help of mass plastic greenhouses the province produces tomatoes and all other varieties of vegetables.
The province itself has a wide diversity of nature and as such a lot of the countryside in Almeria is protected, meaning that large Urbanisations of Spanish Villas and Properties are restricted, with only smaller developments being permitted building plots are at a premium.
