Clover Estates are the proud sponsors of Cristian Trabalon from Arboleas an exciting new up and coming local talent in MotoGP. Cristian started when his father bought him a cross minibike and since then he has spent all his spare time at the Circuito Almeria race track and has now qualified for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
This competition is the centrepiece of the Red Bull MotoGP program and comprises 23 rookies aged between 13 and 16 and they will compete in 7 races using standard specification 125cc Grand Prix machinery.
All of us here at Clover wish Cristian all the best in this exciting competition and that he achieves his dreams of winning the Spanish GP and the Cup.

The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is the centerpiece of the whole Red Bull MotoGP Program. The 23 rookies, who showed the greatest talent in the previous year during the Selection Event in Valencia, will be pitted against each other in their own racing series run on standard specification 125cc Grand Prix machinery, supplied by cup partner KTM. Seven races are scheduled (see race calendar).
Probably the most unusual aspect of this new racing series, which is held with the goal to discover new talents in motorcycle racing, is the fact that 'results' are not the only qualities that are considered. Instead, the general impression a rider gives is equally important: personality, racing spirit, team spirit, fair play and so on.
Apart from the racing environment, it is mandatory for the participants to combine motorsports activities in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup with a regular school education.
The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Program is open to youngsters from anywhere in the world aged from 13 to 16 (born between January 1st 1992 and December 31st 1994).Those interested in participating do not need to have experience in motorcycle road-racing, but must have riding experience and demonstrate the necessary drive, ambition and raw talent to learn the skills needed to become a racer.
